“I was overweight growing up . . .”

…My brother told my dad he wanted to be a trainer and my dad told him, ‘Okay. Your first client is your brother. Help him lose weight.’ And every pound that I lose, he gave him five bucks. He got us a cheap little bench. We’d be out there working out and I was running. It got so serious that my dad got us a treadmill. My brother takes me to the high school to work out in the mornings, [which we called] ‘The Breakfast Club.’ I started losing weight like crazy and then just fell in love with getting fit.”
