Minnemishinona Falls
A nice little spot...
...to pause and reflect while in the Greater Mankato area is Minnemishinona Falls.
This tiny park was established in 2007, and given a major upgrade with a 160-foot pedestrian bridge in 2011. The crossing offers an up-close view of the falls, completely hidden from the road, and connects with a bike trail into nearby North Mankato.
You may not be guaranteed a roaring flow of water on any given day, but you'll surely find a peaceful escape, regardless.
